I second the authors point. I have been with TD for 3 years now. Although their pricing is really high, but I really can\'t do without their research and excellent trading platform. I have recently started learning about the forex market and since TD has it, I don\'t have to go anywhere else.

among the best brokers for stock trading.. options are quite pricy however if you have high volume of trading, you can get a much lower rate as well. I enjoy almost 50% discount on trading cost since my volumes are very high

I have been using TD Ameritrade for past 3 years. Really love their service. ThinkorSwim is an awesome platform for learning the rope in trading. Overall perfect experience. Two downsides are quite out there.. slightly expensive than some other brokerages such as OptionsHouse. Also forget about shorting if you are trading with them as they never ever have borrows on small cap stocks
