OptionsHouse is the cheapest brokerage firm out there. It is running a special for free 100 trades with new accounts and 2.95$ per trade thereafter. However it is not good for stocks below 1$ per share.

With C making its way up to the 4$ range, it is important for small investors to understand if this is a good time for them to get in or not. In brief, it appears to be a good time for both short terms and long also. Short terms will make quick profit in small quantities while long holding stock buyers will come out with a big chunk when the stock shoots up.
