Overall, April 2010 was a good month for the stock market. The Dow Jones pushed above 11,000 for the first time since 2008, and many stocks saw their values rise. Banks were coming out of the financial crisis, jobs were being created and the Dow Jones had its 12th month of gains in the last 14.
